(02/03 13:11:28) Minasunda: The reason for this is that some certain moves seem to produce something like “sound overlays” when several people perform them synchronously in the water. It doesn’t sound nice and is quite loud – but it can be easily suppressed if you deactivate the game sound.

(02/03 13:33:45) Dah’mpa: Shorah everyone, before presenting the Wall Game Contest itself, I’d like to share with you the main idea that guided us when formatting this event.
(02/03 13:34:01) Dah’mpa: This wall game contest is an opportunity to gather people to celebrate the anniversary. Therefore, the format was conceived with the aim to involve all players interested in taking part, including those who have never played or watched a wall game before and it will hopefully offer a pleasant and cheerful event for everyone.
(02/03 13:34:29) Dah’mpa: That said, let’s talk about the Wall Game.
(02/03 13:34:36) Dah’mpa: As Mina just said, the event will take place in two different time slots: 13 KI and 17 KI.
(02/03 13:34:45) Dah’mpa: This double slot is mainly a way to involve people from different time zones, but players can take part in either or both events.
(02/03 13:34:59) Dah’mpa: They will run in the same way. Therefore, from now on, what we’ll say works for both events.
(02/03 13:35:13) Dah’mpa: So, there will be two different competitions.
(02/03 13:35:20) Dah’mpa: (just to be absolutely clear: two competitions in each time slot)
(02/03 13:35:31) Dah’mpa: The first one is called Climbers Competition and it’s the one we created to involve as many players as possible.
(02/03 13:35:43) Dah’mpa: Generally speaking, the competition will run in elimination rounds.
(02/03 13:35:52) Dah’mpa: Nevertheless, depending on the number of competitors (which will be known only on the day of the event) it might be necessary to use different round formats or even have the first rounds of the competition running in 2-players team wall games.
(02/03 13:36:16) Dah’mpa: Most important thing (because it’s not how a wall game usually works): In each wall game, both players will face the same maze, created and input by the organizers.
(02/03 13:36:34) Dah’mpa: Therefore, players will just climb the wall, leaving the Control Panel setup to the organizers.
(02/03 13:36:47) Dah’mpa: In this simplified wall game format, new players will only have to learn a few simple rules and instructions (given at the beginning of the event), thus being able to play a wall game competition even with zero experience.
(02/03 13:37:05) Dah’mpa: Also, to avoid new players getting lost in the facility, we’ll also have auxiliary avvies working as ‘living signs’ showing the location of the Suit Rooms, as well as the Conference Room.

(02/03 13:37:35) Dah’mpa: Players can enrol at the beginning of the competition, that’s absolutely fine, but if you already know you’re going to take part in the game, please let us know beforehand.

(02/03 13:38:18) Nosila: -This is a competition for the “hardest maze to beat”.
(02/03 13:38:31) Nosila: -In each wall game, two climbers will face the same maze created by a third player and input by the organizers.

(02/03 13:39:26) Nosila: -Very important thing: In order to take part in this competition, competitors will need to send to the organizers a 12-blockers maze before the event date.
(02/03 13:39:41) Nosila: -Since we can’t have too many competitors in this second competition (due to time constrains), we might use the date/time we received a maze as an elimination criteria (hopefully we won’t need to do it).

There are daytime openings starting at either 12:00 KI time, 13:00 KI time, or 14:00 KI time, again, depending on the student’s schedule. (02/03 13:54:38) shokhootahn Rehn: Tonight is the second story of the the first human restoration and the second restoration of the cavern, overall. There are two parts, total. After that will begin the story From Myst V, then of the second human restoration of the cavern, then the five-part chapter play titled, “Jae’s Journey.”
(02/03 13:55:03) shokhootahn Rehn: “Jae’s Journey was written by the explorer Janai and posted to the mystonline.com forums in 2008. If anyone still has contact with her on the surface, please let her know that her story is about to be performed, probably in April of this year, and that she has my personal invitation to attend. 🙂

(02/03 13:58:25) shokhootahn Rehn: Story Night – Europe is held at 14:00 KI time on Saturday afternoon. We start gathering at the hood’s fountain starting at 13:30 KI time except for AGM Saturdays, when it starts at 14:00 KI or 30 minutes after the AGM, whichever is later.
